Have you ever met someone that is a wilderness kind of guy? Well Rainsford is this kind of guy. Author of “The Most dangerous Game” Richard Connells, describes Rainsford as a Hunter that does not care about the animals he hunts. This story starts when Rainsford falls off a boat heading for the Amazon and landson Ship Trap Island. There he meets Zaroff, an old general who hunts humans for fun and guess who hisnew victim is, it’s Rainsford. Rainsford has to survive in the wilderness using his hunting skills, like beingresourceful, clever and sly to stay alive and defeat Zaroff.

Rainsford was very good at being resourseful. He made a sling shot with trees, springy young, and grapevines that shot out a knife. When the knife shot, it kelled Ivan, Zaroffs best man, and his dogs. He was very resourceful because all he had was a knife and the forest around him and he was able to make those tools. It’s a good thing that he is resourceful because it saves him from being killed by Ivand annd being eaten by vicious dogs.

Rainsford is a very clever man. He runs all over the place to make tracks so that there isn’t one set of tracks. This throws the General off his course. He is clever because he had to stop and think of what hewas doing before he would get caught by Zaroff. It is good that he is clever because it saves him from being caught right away, within one day of being hunted.

Rainford was a very sly kind of guy. He snuck into Zaroff’s mansion to kill him when everyone thougth he had died at the cliff. He is sly because he had to agains stop and think of his plan and he does it without anyone knowing. It’s good that he is sly because if he were not then he would have got caught and would have died or worse, get hunted again.

Rainsoford is resourceful, clever and sly. Being all of these things was good for him because it keeps him alive and hidden. So he cna defeat Zaroff. When Rainsofr had killed Zaroff “he had never slept in a better bed.”

TEST

by Nancy

Now I lay me down to study,

I pray the Lord I won’t go nutty.

If I should fail to learn this junk,

I pray the Lord I will not flunk.

But if I do, don’t pitty me at all,

Just lay my bones in the study hall.

Tell my prof I did my best,

Then pile my books upon my chest.

Now I lay me down to rest,

And pray I’ll pass tomorrow’s test.

If I should die before I wake,

That’s one less test I’ll have to take.

S ~ tests

O ~ night before the test

A ~ anybody who takes tests and God

P ~ let people know that tests suck

S ~ Author, student studying

Tone ~ studying for tests isn’t always fun
